How do the workshops work?

All of our workshops are inclusive and open to all. They're a great way to meet people who share the same interests and ethos when it comes to DIY textiles and clothing repair, whilst learning a new skill and producing something unique. 

We also offer private classes if you would prefer one-to-one tuition, feel free to contact us anytime to discuss a suitable time that works best for you. 

Should I bring anything?

Here at RESTORATION LONDON we encourage mending your clothing and therefore offer a 10% discount to those bringing in their own item of clothing to either fix or use as fabric during the workshop. If you will be bringing in your own item of clothing to fix, simply enter code RESTORE at checkout. 

All other art supplies and materials etc will be provided.

Snacks, alcoholic beverages and cakes for your special event are most welcome. Please just let us know that you will be bringing these along prior to the party. 

 

The majority of the workshops are suitable for complete beginners. However, some may be more advanced or a follow on from a previous workshop, therefore please check the level details in the description provided. 

Where are the workshops based?

Our workshops run all over London at various independent venues. We are also able to come to your home if you choose to host a special event there, or perhaps you have a venue in mind that you would like us to come to. Please do check with the venue you've hired before the event to confirm, then we'd be more than happy to bring the workshop to you! 

If you have a particular date in mind for the event and would like to use one of our lovely venues, please let us know at least 1 month in advance so we can check the availability and share the details (including pictures of the venue etc) with you.

 

What time should I arrive at the workshop?

You can arrive 5 minutes before the workshop to allow enough time for our tutor to have it all set up and ready to go! If you are running late, please let us know on the phone number provided on the contact page, but please do try to arrive on time if possible.

Have a dietary requirement?

Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements prior to the workshop and we will do our best to accommodate. 

What if I am unable to attend my workshop?

If you are unable to make your workshop, please let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to book you onto a workshop at a later date.

Are the workshops refundable?

Unfortunately our workshops are non-refundable, however if you are unable to attend we will try to book you on to a future workshop.

How do the gift cards work?

RESTORATION LONDON gift cards range from £10-£50 which you can spend towards or to the total value of a workshop.

Our gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout when you book a workshop of your choice. 

RESTORATION LONDON gift cards have no additional processing fees. 

When do the gift vouchers expire?

Our gift cards expire 1 year from the date of purchase.
