ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP...
This is a fantastic class for those wanting to learn how to crochet as well as learn how to read crochet patterns and diagrams.
We offer this course in the following 2 sessions: (however you also have the option of just attending the first beginners introductory session - learn to crochet)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN...
Each session will last 2.5 hours and you will learn the stitches required to make a lovely crochet blanket using Granny Squares!
We will teach you how to hold your crochet hook correctly, go through the pattern step-by-step and show you how to read a crochet chart (which can sometimes be a bit mind boggling!) But with the help of one of our lovely tutors, you will leave feeling happy knowing that you've got a new skill under your belt!
We will also go through the written pattern carefully with you so you'll easily finish the Granny Squares to make up the blanket in the comfort of your own home whilst watching a film!
When you've created all your squares, we will then show you how to join them together as the final step of your lovely blanket!
The size of the blanket is up to you - this can be a project that lives longer than the course as you can always add more squares!
For the full 2 part course you will receive enough yarn to make a 24 inch X 24 inch baby blanket.
Crochet Granny Square blankets look amazing as sofa throws or bedspreads, or even as a cute little gift for a newborn.

The level for this workshop are as follows:
Part 1 - Learn to crochet - Beginner Friendly
Part 2 - Granny Squares + Joining technique - Intermediate
DURATION:
2.5 hours per session
WHAT SHALL I BRING?:
No need to bring anything to this workshop! All materials will be provided, including the yarn, hook and hand outs for you to carry on your crochet at home.
PART 1 ONLY - You will get to keep a ball of yarn, crochet hook and hand outs
PART 1 + 2 FULL COURSE - You will get to keep x3 balls of yarn in x3 colours (9 total), crochet hook, stitch marker and hand outs
WHERE IS THE WORKSHOP?:
