WWSU X Restoration London
Restoration London joins us at Waste Will Save US store in Upmargate on 17th December.
We will be hosting a workshop combining some of our most loved practices and would love you to join us.
Restoration London will be bringing their popular Boro & Shashiko Japanese mending and darning programmes to the store and you will have a chance to pick from the Waste Will Save Us archive of fabrics trims stencils and paints for an exciting collaborative winter wardrobe revival.
We invite you to BYO garment- it’s the perfect opportunity to dig out that well loved but past its best old fave, maybe a winter jumper that you’ve discovered is moth eaten or damaged or a stained and ripped ‘never to be worn again’ Tshirt, jeans or jacket.
To further boost your creativity and in keeping with the shops ritual ethos we will immerse your senses in scent and sound, merging DIY customisation with the following rituals:
Moroccan tea will be served.
Incense and candles will be burned
Music will be played
