ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP...
A lovely therapeutic workshop where you will be introduced to the wonderful textile technique of hand embroidery.
This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn different stitching techniques or even great for those who just know the basic stitches and want to broaden their embroidery knowledge...
PLEASE NOTE: We aim to share a recording of our online workshops after the session so that you can continue learning in your own time! If you would prefer not to have the session recorded and shared with the group, please let us know, and we will accommodate.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN...
We will teach you 10 different embroidery stitches within the 1.5 hour class. You will explore different textures through the variety of stitches you will learn, as well as experimenting with colour, yarn, and patterns to create that abstract effect.
You will take away with you a variety of embroidery stitch knowledge that you can adapt and transfer on to other embroidery projects or even your clothing!
All materials will be supplied by Restoration London and sent out to you in a pack.
We will be working on a 6.5inch wooden embroidery hoop (which you will get to keep) so that you can hang your wonderful work of art on your wall once you’ve finished.
If you don’t finish the piece within the 1.5 hours - not to worry! We will also provide you with a recording of the workshop so that you can refer back to it at a time that’s most convenient for you!
