ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP...
Learn the wonderful art of Japanese Mending and make a set of these lovely upcycled christmas tree decorations!
You will be learning the traditional Japanese mending techniques of both Sashiko and Boro using gorgeous upcycled tartan fabrics.
This is the perfect workshop for those wanting to learn Japanese embroidery techniques to create these cute decorations and for those interested in having a more sustainable Christmas.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN…
During the 1.5 hour workshop you will be introduced to 2 different sashiko designs, boro stitching and satin stitch to create your lovely tree decorations.
We will be providing you with all the materials that you will need and will send in a lovely pack to your address.
If you don't manage to finish the stitching within the 1.5 hour workshop - no to worry! We will be sure to show you everything you need to know to complete your gorgeous tree decorations and you will also receive a recording of the workshop for you to refer back to at any time you wish to make more.
